Integration Expertise

We collaborate closely with our customers to integrate GNSS, time and frequency and synchronization technologies into their devices or systems.

Here are several areas where we bring our expertise to help solve today’s challenges.

  • GPS testing. If you make a product that moves, you probably have integrated or will integrate GPS. For the most demanding applications for positioning, navigation and timing, we will help you develop solutions based on Spectracom GPS signal generators, simulators and testers.

  • Frequency Control & Analysis. Any high-end frequency controlled device requires time and frequency calibration, measurement and analysis. Our Pendulum frequency counters/analyzers offer speed, resolution and analysis of even the most complex signals with feature sets for applications in the R&D lab, manufacturing, calibration lab and the field.

  • Network Testing. As the interconnectivity of devices is often through network connections, Spectracom leverages its technology for measuring and optimizing networked systems. Examples include synchronization testing and aligning wireless microwave links.

  • GPS Simulation: See How it Works

    A fully-configurable RF generator is simply the best way to test GPS integration.

    Testing a GPS device or system outside, using the live sky signal, is limited existing locations, time and conditions. Often, it is expensive or even dangerous to test the ability of the receiver under the entire range of dynamic conditions. That’s where a GPS simulator comes in.

A new line of microwave counter is a fundamental design departure from both general purpose and microwave counters. It incorporates a unique counter/timer/analyzer with a sophisticated microwave counter/power meter. This new generation of instrument is a ‘zero deadtime’ microwave counter that uses a graphic display to show numeric and statistical data of measurement results. The instrument can display measurement data in a statistical format, including a graphic display of trend line and histogram distributions, and a numeric format of mean, min/max, peak-to-peak, Allan Deviation and standard deviation of the frequency or power of a microwave signal.
